Curriculum Questions

Good University works for many professions. Our 12-month online program is specifically designed for those who are having a hard time taking their career to the next level. At the beginning of the Good University program, students complete a comprehensive online Career Assessment to gauge their interests, skills, workplace history and priorities in life. From there, we provide the best courses and weekly live classes to support your growth. If you don’t know what you want to do with your life, Good University is the best place for you to start.

We offer thousands of courses in over 100+ careers. To see a full list of our courses visit our program page. We specialize in STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). We also offer liberal arts courses.

The learning path suggests courses that you should take to develop your career based on your personalized career assessment test.

Live classes are held in the Good University online classroom. For the best experience, join from a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection. You can join from a smart phone, but it’s not recommended.

Good University offers live classes several times a day 365 days a year. Choose the time that works for you. Topics change weekly and you have unlimited access.

As a GoodU student you get access to over a billion dollars worth of online courses that have been developed in the last 10 years.

You can utilize the course tutorials, post questions to other students via the course forums, or hire a private tutor.

Each week, you will complete a weekly checkpoint to monitor your progress. These are sent directly to our team of advisors so we can help identify any obstacles and help you declare breakthroughs.

We require that you’re enrolled in one learning path at one time. You have unlimited access to courses.

Each week you’ll complete a GoodU checkpoint, if you’d like a full view of your progress go to the tab in your learning platform.

Classes are held each week, and they’re run by a GoodU Advisor. There is a set curriculum and assignments. The topics do not focus on academics but rather on personal development. Students do not choose classes, there is a set schedule outlined for the entire year. Courses, however, are taught by industry experts and professors; they cover a topic and are specific to each student’s career path. Students can choose their courses based on their career interests. Classes are for your personal and career development / Courses are for your academic and skill based development.

Some examples include: Managing your finances, finding meaning in your work, thinking long term, and being effective in your communication.

This is what makes GoodU different than a traditional school. We don’t give you a piece of paper, we give a guarantee that you will be working in a dream career. You can collect more degrees than a thermometer and not have enough money to live and be drowning in student debt. This is why GoodU works.
